I found out long ago that CD’s don’t hold many pics, especially after I got a better, more detailed camera. My $20 memory stick, aka thumb drive, aka usb flash, will hold more pics than about 50 CD’s will hold and it is much much faster to load them onto it. Yes it should not be relied upon for storage but works great to transfer them and to easily take with you to load on other computers and show them to folks. I us my stick to transfer pics between my 2 computers so I always have a backup copy on each computer of every pic and I also take advantage of the free use of the Photobucket website to store and share my pics. I probably got about 300 pics of my tractors on there and there is no telling how many Powerstroke pics on there not to mention personal stuff like vacations and things.
If you don’t have a memory stick then I suggest getting one, they are very handy and reusable, you can get them almost anywhere. Don’t get one of those 128m or 256m, go for at least 2Gig, you won’t be sorry.
