Well......The governement cant make me turn in an old car if I dont want to. If I had an old IH tractor and it was worth $3000 to me and the goverment was going to give me $4000 for it then I made a little bit of money and I would pocket the $4000. Where would it stop, What if uncle sam offered you money to turn in your living room furniture to increase sales of lazy boy's? What if it was home appliances too? If uncle sam wants to give me money for turning something in and I make out on the deal then, Cool, If it isnt worth it to me then I keep the item(s) Politicitans are crooks and will do anything to get reelected. Should be 1 term, 1 time, no running for office for decades. Period! Remember that the US fed. gov. is run like a train headed for a wreck. The fed. budget deficit is insane and if the elected clowns want waste more of your money on buying junk then.....So be it. They shouldnt be in the garage sale business though.
