If you don't need the program for anything else besides this, it wouldn't pay you to buy it. What I would do is buy a flash drive at an office supply store and head for your local community college. I am willing to bet they would help you out even though you don't go there (call ahead and ask first and also ask if someone could help you). They should have the latest software and staff to help you out. At my college they pay students to be availible to help people out, although right now is winter break for us here in VT, so finding someone during the next couple of week might be a little difficult. You can do your resume in their computer lab, print off the copies you need, and then save it on your flashdrive so you'll have it in the future. For extra points, you might want to buy a small amount of fancy paper, and then have them put it in their printer for the job to catch the eye of the person hiring. Good luck!
