well if you own the vehicle it is your responsibility to make sure it is road worthy and safe on the roads.BUT some of them big trucks out there are probably in worst shape than the little cars.and i do agree that if you are going to drive then have a clue how the vehicle operates.i have witnessed women go for a spin and just freeze at the wheel, just shut their eyes and hang on to the wheel.as i always say there is lots of accidents caused by just being inexperienced.at the wheel.kind of getting side tracked now so better quite.but yes this gets me riled up.a six year old kid can drive any vehicle today, and not enough training before recieving a licence.
