SICKLE MOWER ON SPEEDEX 840

MY MID-60'S SPEEDEX MODEL 840 (8-HP BRIGGS, 40" BELLY MOWER)HAS A SICKLE BAR THAT I WANT TO MOUNT AND USE. I DON'T KNOW HOW IT ATTACHES; I BELIEVE THAT I MUST BE MISSING AT LEAST A MOUNTING BRACKET. ANY INFO AVAILABLE? SCHEMATICS? PHOTOS? DIAGRAMS? HINTS? THIS WAS MY FATHER'S TRACTOR, AND I SAW HIM USING THE SICKLE BAR ONCE WHEN IT WAS NEW...35 YEARS AGO. (TRANS TECH DOES NOT RESPOND.)
