I used my '69 John Deere with syncro trans couple of hours this afternoon and everything worked fine. I then shut it off for a few minutes. When I started it back up and tried to move it it appears the brakes are locked, especially the left one, but maybe the right one slightly too. I tried breaking it loose by shifting back and forth from reverse to foreward and finally got it to go a little only the bind up again. I shut the engine off and hooked up to it with my Pickup and no problem pulling it - everything was free. So I started up the engine again and same thing the brake/brakes are locked up. I checked the hydraulic oil level and it is was a little low. I topped it off but brakes are still locking. Has anyone had this problem before and if so what is going on. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
