hi you need to take off the pto housing. if it's a selectamatic tractor you will have to take off the filter warning light sender which is under pto housing two 7/16 bolts i also take off the frame which the drawbar frame latches to and the top link housing just to make it a bit lighter the ring of bolts around the pto housing are 5/8. three bolts 9/16 hold the pump on and loosen the four 7/16 bolts under the pump and remove pump. when i'm refitting the pto housing i use two guide bolts to make it bit easier' you may heve to engage the pto to line up the gear teeth for the pump drive. hope this helps sorry for the long reply
