Was in the gents room in a bar a couple weeks ago. Fella next to me said he works in construction, it sure is cold out.
I tend to not talk much there, but as long as he started a conversation, I replied yea, it's rough working out, I farm so I know whatcha mean.
He said those are fighting words, wanna fight?
Just don't get some people. Gotta be the center of attention, one way or another. And always the last word. And have to break the rules, because that's the thing that has to be done.
I don't know nothing about a different forum - I sitck to the ones I like plus the tractor forum. I know Kim has tried a bunch of different ways to make an off-topic section, because of course folks get together to chat & off topic things come up.
But, it always reverts to the loud & off-colored people taking over. Gotta have the last word.
Some folks like sitting around talking about tractors, and getting questions about them answered.
The internet is _so_ full of the discussion forums where everyone is a jerk & see who can whine the loudest about how cool & right they are....
Why do a few always need to come around and make a mess for others to have to swim in?
Don't get it.
Kim & the gang do a good job around here. I haven't always agreed with every move they have ever made; but I really appreciate the efforts they have made & the way they listen to the folks who visit here.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
