Was wondering if anyone on here could help. I have a 2002 chevy silvrado 5.3 engine that will not idle right in the cold weather. It only does it if the temp is below 50. when you first crank it up it idles up real high for a few seconds, then idles back down and continues to idle very rough. When the truck warms up the problem goes away. Also if you let it just set and idle while it is still cold, the service engine light comes on after a few seconds. have replaced coolant temp sensor, and idle air control valve. Any ideas?
