Tom, I tend to agree with you. If it weren't for 2 small kids involved in the mess, not the wreck, I'd say live and learn. Car was paid for, 1 vehicle wreck, no other damage. She was an executive assistant in the past, but gave it up to be a married stay at home mom. Now divorced, she works nights waiting tables so the kids don't have to go to day care. The kids spend nights with dad. The other bad things are now no car, no license, gonna have to quit job since she was getting cash under the table. In Ia to get a work permit after a DUI, you have to prove employment. Makes me glad I only drink on rare occasions and never enough to be impaired...
