Finished major remodel March, 2007. This will be paid off this year or next. Land is paid for, cows and equipment only bought with cash. The only thing I plan to spend on is helping my children get their places bought and paid for, none of them has asked for help but they're good kids and my Wife and I would like to see them have a little more security than we had through the years. I have always made my living in a highly volitile, cylical business and could never count on a job to last, I have been fortunate through the years and stayed working. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
