There was a good article about them in the last Oliver Heritage Magazine. It told how LONG they were built,but not how many. Production started in 1939 and went til they were sold to Avery in February 1942. I think the problem with production numbers was that while they were built by Cletrac,they were sold and distributed by different companies under different names, The same tractors were sold as Cletrac General,Avery,Montgomery Wards,Farm Bureau and sold in Canada by Massey Harris. Of course after the sale in 42,they were strictly Avery and designated as the Model A and weren't the General anymore.
