: I have recently come into possesion of a '48 TE20 and would appreciate some assistance from someone knowledgeable with these tractors. This machine ran when it was parked a couple of years ago. The previous owner purchase a larger tractor better suited to his purposes. In my research it would appear that TE20s came with either a Continental or Standard motor. Does anyone know how to identify these engines and the proper firing order. I realize that if I pull the plugs I could also determine the firing order, however the starter needs to be rebuilt first and I believe that will require pulling the distributor to provide sufficient clearance. The plug wires have long since disappeared and before I start the information would certainly be helpful. : Thanks in advance for any assistance. : Brett Myklegard
