The 460 is a rock solid engine . It will far outpull the 351 of any version anyday anytime anyload and will work the backside off any comparable diesel if not out pull it as well
The biggest favour you can do for you, your wallet and your 460 is change the crankshaft timing gear to the 429 gear and chain set.
The cam on later 460 engines is retarded 4 degrees by way of the crank gear makes em lazy and harder on fuel
Change the timing gear set the over all performance gain is improved greatly eg. fuel milage and power
other than this change usual things like tuneup and and general maintenance is all it needs

To install a 460 where a 351 comes out you need a bell housing from a 351-400m or a 460, auto or standard. The Crank shaft pilot hole is possible 2 different sizes, early crank was large 1.850in and late 1.375in, most common these days is the 1.375 pilot
Beyond this the only other conversion concerns would be normal such as exhaust and mounts of course fuel injection concerns if it is that new
