I suppose if there was any real belief in our laws then they would be tried based on the evidence against them... and if they're guilty, then dealt with accordingly. However, if there was any real evidence agains any of them, the government would have been only too quick to hoist them up to show the world. The reality is that now they will be released... and now you're not releasing someone who may or may not have done something, you're releasing someone who will certainly have a grudge to settle having spent the last 7 years in gitmo. Bright decision that one was, very bright.
