Unfortunately, there are some who think all govt. payments are evil, and if someone is on disability, then, by god, he'd better just give up on life and sit in a chair. I admired Old's determination to do something, even if he couldn't do it at the pace required by employers. I've seen enough folks with bad backs, hips, etc. to know how they work- slowly, lots of breaks, lots of setting things up so they can do the task with diminished strength or agility (such as setting up a way to get back up off the floor, which healthy young bucks don't give a thought to). I take my hat off to someone who will do SOMETHING other than just wait to die. He may make a few buck from tinkering with tractors- probably very little. I don't begrudge him for it, and wish others could be a little less judgmental. Walk a mile in his shoes, guys, and be thankful you don't have to be in 'em the rest of your life.
