This virus is a combination of a Trojan Horse (looks like a harmless gift, but it's dangerous inside) and a "worm" (self-propagating). When you open it, it locates all the .jpg and .mp3 files it can find and deletes them, replacing them with a VB Script copy of itself. it then searches for your Outlook address book and e-mails a copy of itself to everyone on your address list. It also modifies your registry to execute itself again each and every time the computer is rebooted. So unplugging the wire before you open (1) still allows the "trojan horse" to do its damage to your machine, but (2) if and when you reboot, the mail messages it has generated to all those on your mailing list will still be sent, and (3) it will happen again when you reboot. I am a programmer, and have isolated and analyzed a copy of the VB script and that is exactly what it does. The only safe guard is to DELETE WITHOUT OPENING, but since you have already opened it, you have infected your machine, and will be propogating this unholy piece of code to everyone you know. Regarding the preview pane in Outlook Express, there is an internal setting under View/Layout to disable the preview pane. Depending on the attachment, the preview pane can and will open and diplay the contents of attachment. Gadget Senior Programmer/Analyst P.S. I hope my name is not in your address book, and if you receive an email from me that says "ILOVEYOU", don't believe it! DELETE WITHOUT OPENING!

If it would just start when I turn the key, then I would use it more often. In addition to a bad case of old age, most of the tractor's original electrical system was simply too unreliable to keep. The main focus of this page is to show how I upgr
