Us Daves must think alot alike. Been doing it for several years. I now use 10 different flash drives with different headings on them. One for tractors, one for machinery, and others such as health, repair tricks, etc. I save every post that I think my help me out in years to come.
I used to print everything, you should see my file cabnets! What a mess. I think there are 11 diffrent 4 drawer file cabnets.
I went through two divorces, want to ask about something purchased to date from 1978 after our house burned, when, where, purchase price?. The file cabnets have been worth their weight in gold---proving things in the court room.
If nothing else it will serve my kids right! having to sort all that junk, (for putting me in a nursing home some day).
