I can' blame you for wanting to build your credit, but I think your thinking different then what I would do == and have done ...
It would be ok for you to get a credit card, but for your idea of charging up to 500 is totally wrong, while it's true when you charge = and pay for your charges, you build credit, but your concept needs over hauling.
I would (and have) always paid cash or by check) for any charges made, HOWEVER = when using a credit card -- for building credit, simply charge just a few dollars per month, and then == pay the balance off in full every month,
the Credit Card company don't care how much you owe == it's what you pay ( on time) that counts AND what gives you a credit score ..
so there you have it === if you want to stay out of trouble and dept = pay off your bills = and DONT'T Make bills you can't pay. good luck///
