It was a hard decision to leave the family farm after we quit milking cows, but I moved west(IA). I grew up on a dairy in MA. I just could not stand the BS of all the stuck up snobs who thought they could control everything, and never gave a single thought to the people who were there first and built the towns they live in..( I also had other issues at hand, but thats a whole nother story). I'm sure its only a matter of time before it heads this way, but generally if you live in the country you can do what you want here.
