Magnetic lines of force are no different than the force of a post holding a roof up. If it doesn't move it doesn't perform work or have power. PM motors #1 don't waste electricity making magnetic lines of force by pushing electricity through windings. #2 PM motors have a shorter current path which lowers the internal resistance. Less resistance = more current which equals more power if the voltage stays the same. Reading posts of this nature makes me wonder how students pass tests and exams in school on the most basic questions in physics? And, what are they teaching in school?
