I went a few years ago and had a real good time. Wed-heavy rain all day but the pavilions are all joined. Lots of people. I had planned to go this year. Had a res at the Hilton Garden Inn right there but had to cancel due to some last minute business. One whole pavilion (out of five total) was full of milking machines. That was interesting although I never plan to milk a cow again. Lots of interesting equipment on display. I finally found the combines and tractors. New Holland was a no show that year. John Deere presented the usual "sea of green". Kubota had beige carpeting about an inch and a half thick under their tractors. Most people there were about what you'd expect. Middle aged men, a few with their wives and friends or family members. It was, for me, a lot of fun and I talked to a lot of the reps about their equipment. Anyone interested in farming should go. I have absolutely no interest in the tractor pull. Bad part was leaving and driving up through Indiana where the rain turned to heavy snow on I65. Not a problem though. Stopped at a nice big hotel (there were at least 5 on that interchange). Hooters restaurant right in the middle. All-in-all, a great trip.
