It's the media. There are very few good ones these days. I live in MN. Winters for the last 15 years have been pretty easy for the most part. Whenever there is a prediction of a few inches of snow, the darn media acts like were gonna get the blizzard of the century. They sensationalize everything these days. Look at Jessica Simpson, finally a celebrity female that isn't a stick person, she's always looked good, she gained a little bit of weight, and the media makes it the top story for a few days. There isn't one media dude that was making fun of her few pounds of extra cushion, that would do her in a heart beat if they had a chance. Really makes you wonder what they are taught in journalism courses.
