On my 95 dodge 1500 my son used it to hook up to a trailer an had trouble with lights so started messing with wire coupler an ended up letting it hang down like i see many others-dangling wires. All was well til year later while going down interstate had to make a panic stop. That was when i realized brakes would not apply full pressure - would not lock up an abs did not work.To make story short found out salt water had coroded in coupler an shorted wire causing abs fuse in box to be blown.Because the abs light is in a position on dash that i did not see for long time i did not see it-- my ignorance an it almost cased a serious accident. Put everything back to gether an no problem. Will add truck set sometimes as i drove over road an battery would be dead when i got home.
