When I send cattle to market I must submit a National Vendor Declaration Form [NVDF] and my cattle must have an eartag which identifies the property where it was born.
The NVDF questions are..
Have any of the cattle been.........treated with hormone growth promotant [HGP]
Have these cattle been raised consistant with the rules of an independently audited QA [quality assurance] program on the property.
Were all the cattle born and raised on the vendors property,
In past 60 days have any... cattle been fed by-product stockfeeds.
In past 6 months have any....cattle been on a property ..........or placed under grazing restrictions because of chemical residue.
Are any cattle....still within a withholding period [whp] or export slaughter interval [esi] following any treatment with any Vet. drug or chemical.
In the past 60 days.........cattle consumed any stockfeed that was still within a WHP when harvested or first grazed.
In past 42 days were any cattle: [a] grazed in an endosulfan spray risk area, [b] fed fodder cut from endosulfan spray drift risk area.
