The light was on the insturment panel that the generator was not charging so I took it and the regulator to have it checked the armature was burned out he rubuilt the regulator. The man did not have any way to check the lucas regulator. I brought it home and put the generator back on and the regulator. The light was off when I started the tractor but when I reved the engine up the light come back on and stays on. I went back to the fellow and he said it might be the regulator so I put a new one on and polarized it and started the tractor but when I started the tractor the light was off and when I rev the engine up the light comes back on. Does anybody know what I can check to see why the light is still on.
