Where else could I get a good answer to a lawnmower problem but on the YT forum? Anyways, I've got an older lawn boy lawnmower (early 70's) that I am still using as my main yard mower. It's a 2-stroke, mixing oil and gas. Lately, I get a plug fouling problem, but not like you'd think. I get an actual little metal (seems like metal) bead or 'BB' being formed in the combustion chamber when I'm using it. It (or they) eventually gets wedged up into the electode area of the plug and grounds out the electrical system. I remove the plug, pry out the little BB and away I go. Sometimes I get hours of use between formation of these little devils, other times, only 10 minutes. My neighbour says the BB's are from fuel additives. The problem is worse lately since I've been using some left over #1 gas that I have, and also am using some 2-stroke oil for a Stil chain saw. Any ideas as to what those little guys are, and where they're coming from, and what I can do to get rid of the problem (other than buying a new mower)?

My dad dreamed that some day he would have his own tractor with every implement he could get. When he rea
