I am hoping that someone out there will have some background on Leyland tractors. I have read up on the internet but not found much on resale pricing and values. I have the opportunity to purchase my first tractor and do not have the finances to purchase the John Deere of our dreams. Our friend has offered us the following complete package including: British Leyland Tractor (approx. 15-20 years old as best as we can figure), box scraper, 5' rotary cutter, 9" Continental auger post hole digger, flexible tine harrow and Continental 30 Gal sprayer. He is asking $2,400.00. It seems to be a good deal to us however we have not found many places that have spare parts for this tractor. We would appreciate any input before we make our decision. And no we do not have any information telling us what the model number is on the tractor. It is in good working condition.
