This might be a longshot, but you might have to remove the manifold and look at the pipes. They might be full of soot. I saw this discussion on the Ford board awhile back. Make sure to join us on the Farmall board. You can select it from the shortcut at the bottom of this forum, or select discussion forum, then Farmall under Community in the left tool bar.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
