Hello Plow hand, I would spell that name Nehemiah, which is one of the Old Testament Books of the Bible, Nehemiah was a Israelite and a Governor in Israel
that book of the Bible as a few things to say about inter marriage, God Cursed the Jews who married out side there tribe, as we are suppose to follow that rule, we are Not Suppose to marry outside our ethnic group, and will be cursed if we do,
there is a lot to say about how marriage is done in the Bible, and MOST will not follow that, and will find troubles in every turn of life
the Book of Nehemiah is good about giving us the first instructions on that == but who will listen ????
maybe Neomia is a distant relative to the real Nehemiah = but just didn't spell it right, ha ha ha
