Kinda lost their glamour in the shadow of bashing Bush and bringing in the messiah to make everything better and bring the Soldiers home (think about what that'll do to unemployment....).. There are so many ways that they can cause harm if they can just get situated. Key is to not let them get situated and gather plenty of intelligence. GW did a real good job of that. Then comes the new guy and starts wiping out policies for no more reason than "Bush made it, must be wrong".
