T.V. Yes I have driven them. I drove log trucks 50 plus years ago in the pacific N.w. I drove a 5 ton wrecker with a lowboy thru Wash D.C. in 1958 to return crashed air craft to Davidson army airfeild. Then had my fill of driving what ever uncle told me to drive in W. Germany including one trip to Paris france. Yep been there done that Jim P.S.Some of todays driver s take their breaks at the local drug hang outs. By the way I was machinist in the service it was tht darned log truck that got me the extra driving.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
