Dan, I would NEVER under any circumstances recommend using an 8N to brush hog with. They have a transmission PTO and it is dangerous. You need a tractor with either live or independant PTO. I know a lot of people will say they've brush hogged with them (I have too), but it's still not good business if you can avoid it. Play it safe and get a tractor with live or independant PTO!
