Go to TSC store and walk down the chinese hand tool isle,,, you will C a locked wire caged box with the good vice grips and channel lock pliers,,, why are they locked down,,, I would like to know,,, is it that more profit is made on the cheap tools and they want to make it a PITA to have someone come unlock the cage for the good tools,,, dunno but I would really like to know why the good stuff is locked down
You can about forget any tool B'n american made any more, even snap-on,,, yes the last 2 Snap-on tools I brought are made in chinna,,, I jumped a snap-on rep on a forum for profession mechanics about this and he replied to me off line,,, fessed up to outsourcing the parts are the tool off shore,,, said keep it tween us he liked his job

If the goverment would keep their fudgen hands out of the mess we are in I relly think things would turn around ,,, long as they depress sosity with welfair/free handouts things are gonna keep going down hill. Our focuas shoul B on rebuilding america, I vote we fence our selfs in under lock and key till we can become self supporting again.
