had a Polaris 6 wheeler...what a peice of junk. Poor electrics, puny suspension peices. I run bigger joints on kids swing sets than they ran on tie rods. I now have an anceint Yamaha gas golf cart with deep V lug rear tires and ATV knobbies on the front, goes just about anywhere within reason and great for the feed runs. Also use a Geo Tracker, auto w/ 4wd, not much bigger than the Polaris but has heat , AC, radio, and farm tags so I can run it on the road. It will go ANYWHERE- truly stupid off road. Great for toting 2 or 3 bales, pulling utility trailer w/ fence supplies and compressor, etc. Got about $500 in the glf cart and about $800 in the tracker- I will NEVER again by a side by side UTV. FYI- I heard that city of VA Beach tested UTVs for durability and landed on Club Car HD commercial golf carts w/ beds??

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
