Mark; I can't offer any advice on Missouri. The best advice I can offer is to go take a look at an area you may consider. Take a week vacation to the area you may consider. Talk to the locals. Stop for breakfast at the local cafe and talk to the locals. Find local realtors and check their listings. Pick up the local bargain paper and check for properties for sale. Take a daylong trip in each direction to get a better idea of what properties and services are available. Consider what is available for your family, schools, social events and shopping. Consider moving expenses for personal and farm items. I have done all of these things and ended up 30 miles from where I grew up and very happy with my retirement... Gene
