Bill in Il, you mention the rep. working for the ins. company. I understand your disgust with politicians who for the most part I feel are crooked, but I dont think the ins. companies are falling all over themselves to write liability coverage for firearms. As someone mentioned liability ins is inexpensive, so they are not making big bucks off of it. What they are actually hoping for is the companies to get scared of the "awful guns" and exclude coverage for guns.
It is all about making it too diffucult or costly for folks to own guns. It is also just one more law that they can charge a person with.
It is 100% aimed at trying to outlaw guns through the back door.
