Next to our barn used to be pretty sloppy so some of the cows would drag their udders- The first time Dad had 2 loads of gravel screenings brought in, but then a few years later the slop hole moved over a little bit farther down.
I had 2 loads trucked in then to fill it in again as a mother's day and father's day present for Mom & Dad. Hasn't been a problem yet, but next to that is starting to get a little soft at times. Don't think it'll be as bad of a problem though.
I know in years past Mom & Dad have gotten plaques for keeping the SCC #'s low. They got another farmer's quality report by mistake a couple 2 years ago and they just about had a heart attack seeing such high numbers till they noticed it was someone elses. Didn't think the #'s went up so high.

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
