You might consider a Ferguson TO-XX series tractor if you really like the looks of an "XN" type tractor. When you punch the clutch the PTO won't drive you forward like an 8n. It just freewheels. But it is a bit of a pain with a loader... Pull forward into your, lets say mulch then stop, put tractor in nuetral to raise loader. then put the tractor in gear again to move forwards or backwards. It works but not real smooth. Live is better but not absolutely necessary in most cases.
