I own and operate R & W Whitewash Service here in ne Pa ,, Don- wi has it about right , it not the same as what is put on floors , i use what they call hot lime , quick lime or pulverized calcium oxide ,, i use an I R 185 cfm air compressor to blow the cobwebs and dust down , then mix about 1 lb per gal of lime , spray it through a bean royal pump , i use a 3 /8" pipe with a ball valve and flat fan nozzle ,, when the lime mixes with water it DOES GET HOT be carefull ,it ill not look white as its sprayed on , give itsome time to dry !! not many farms left in this area so my territory is getting further from home all the time !!and i only know of two others that whitewash in about a 300 mile radious . hope i helped you any questions just ask , have a great day , Wayne
