I have a 1020 that I just purchased a month ago. THe carb was destroyed, so I've replaced it with a new Zenith and replace the cap,rotor,point,wires and plugs. The problem that if has, and had when I bought it, is that it will Idle fine, at high end, it seems fine and the timing is correct. But in the mid range, it will run up to the desired throttle setting and then drop to idle speed and the back up, continuing to do this. Is this definitly the governor, or possibly something else? I have already adjusted the link to carb for full wide open on both pieces. Thanks, Roger
