I have a 1974 5000 row crop, it has done that before. You aren't getting fuel out of the tank for any number of reasons. It could have algae plugging the screen. If you have done as I have in the past and blown air back into the tank, you will indeed knock loose whatever is choking the fuel flow. BUT, in doing that, the screen will usually go away also. I ended up getting a new shutoff valve that goes in the bottom of tank, pulled the old one out that was missing the screen and flushed the fuel tank as best I could by pouring kerosene in it with the valve removed. It brought a lot of crap with it, had to stick a fine wire up the hole a couple times to dislodge some big chunks. That was last spring, had no problems after that as long as I kept sediment bowl drained when it needed it. DOUG
