If it is any help, I have a 105 combine gas motor in my 64 4020. As I recall(conversion was a dozen years ago). I had to use the front pulley for hyd pump drive, tractor manifolds, throttle linkage, water pump, flywheel. The gas engine combine pan bolted up to the tractor transmission. I just added a 1/2 90 degree street elbow to get the pan drain pointed down. I like the less mess of changing the combine motor's spin on oil filter compared to the tractors cartridge filter in the pan.
I asked the owner of a combine salvage yard about putting combine diesel engines in a tractor. He said about the only feedback from someone doing this conversion, was that the combine crankshaft has more bolt holes than a tractor flywheel and that the unused holes must be plugged or an oil leak will result. Both the yard owner and I got this information second hand, so check before you act on this advice.
