As simple as it sounds try the spark plugs FIRST !! had the same trouble with one of my deeres and Till an old timer told me about John Deeretwo cylinders and how they will not run right on anything then AC 88L spark plugs They are a bit hard to find but couldnt beleive the difference .
if you cant find the AC autolites are close but PLEASE stay away from those champion d 16 d21 my opinion they are just a good paaaper weight ! Wayne
