The Field Marshall was a true diesel of two-stroke single cylinder design. It did not use a hot bulb. The shot-gun shell starting system was an auxiliary means of starting. They were usually crank started or pulled with another tractor. The last one was built in February 1957 and had an electric starter. I am looking for a front wheel.
