I'm 49, semi-retired (I work part time and odd jobs to fund the toy budget) and I kinda do all of the above. I use my '38 F-14 for whatever tasks it is suited for, mostly hauling a trailer and running a sicklebar mower. I use my '88 JD750 for any 3-point equipment jobs, and making a little money on the side with the tiller and the backhoe. I raise a few sheep, sell enough lambs to pay for the ones I put in the freezer for me. Dang sure ain't putting any money in the bank from my "farming", but it comes close enough to paying for itself to be far and away the cheapest hobby I've ever gotten tangled up with. Providing, of course, you don't count the money I put into rebuilding the ol' Farmall. I drag the F14 to one show a year, and go to one or two more. Trying to figure a way to get the F14 with the mower on it to a show next month. My trailer ain't big enough for the two of them...
