Your thoughts are exactly as I see it. The politics of this Iraq war have been some of the lowest in our country's history. My daughter is engaged to a career military man who has served in the '91 Iraqi desert storm, Bosnia, various places in Africa, 2 tours in this Iraq war, and has suffered a debilitating injury during his 2nd tour. As I have told him, I fully respect what you and the other soldiers have done for us and our country, but I so completely disrespect our politicians who brought us into this seeming endless mess. Many of us learned lessons from Nam, and the U.S. media was being controlled then by our govt for the most part. I saw the "no photos" ban on respectfully welcoming our fallen soldiers home from Iraq as more govt cover-up.
And if Dave2 thinks I am a village idiot, he is pathetically wrong. My family has personally paid the ultimate price for the "freedom" we all enjoy. It is far from free!!
