Done just exactly that and have used it for at least 10 years on 2 1/2 acres. Only I call mine a Farmall Kub (ota). Went in thru the crank hole with a shaft and a lovejoy coupling machined into the front pully and created a live PTO off the front with the OE Kubota double belt tightener. (Clutch) The pullys were something like 5 1/2 and a 6 and swapped them to get a slight overdrive. Still works best to run the mower right up there around 2000 rpm but usually only run the farmall around 1450 whatever that works out to. I like the nice job it does on the (would be) lawn. Farmall has coupla HP more than stock and works ok except mebbe first cuttin', er mowin', can dump the clutch and let the mower catch up. Also rigged it to the hyd lift to raise. My property is divided with a small crick. (Creek) Used those funky arms to mount it on a subframe, in order to keep it straight for the pto shaft.
