A hero of our times has finished the race. I am stunned. I grew up listening to Mr Harvey around the noon dinner table. Every day in the barn I left the milkers hanging for just a few minutes so I could go stand by the radio and listen to him tell the Rest of the Story at 6:05 on WMUS. All though far from perfect, Mr Harvey had a way of being a calm in the storm. No one had the ability to say what needed to be said, the way Paul Harvey did. I knew at his age and since his wife Angel had passed on last May, his day were numbered. I am planning an around Lake Michigan vacation for the third week of March, and had emailed Mr Harveys office asking if at all possible I could stop by his Chicago office to meet him. I know he had missed several of the broadcasts this past week so didn't expect a response immediately. Now I hear this, guess that part of the vacation is off the table now. We will miss you Mr Harvey. Thank you for your life.

Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
