I dont have xm radio, but on the receiver there shuld be 2 rca jacks....left and right audio out. This should hook directly into a fm stereo low power transmitter which will rebroadcast between 88 - 108 mhz (the fm radio band). Then you just use a standard am/fm radio to receive the rebroadcast on the transmitted channel. The key to range is the quality and height of the antenna. You can make an antenna easily...search for quarter wave vertical and you should find the formula for the length of the antenna or I can do it for you if you like. Standard coax used for a cb radio is all thats required. The signal levels should be around 1 volt peak to peak on both the xm receiver and the input to the transmitter. Some of the ebay ads leave you guessing as to the connections and their required values, but probably ok anyway. gl Lynn
